I never expected how much simple and seemingly superficial things would change me and eventually define me in a very profound way. I kept thinking that our ideas make us and that what we do while we live is the only thing important. what i found in enjoying these very superficial things is that in the end, nothing really matters and that most things we will try so hard to achieve will ultimately be pointless. Now, don't take that to be anything negative, it doesn't discourage me in any kind of creative pursuits, it doesn't affect it at all, it just changes my motivations from trying to influence the world to enjoying myself basically, leaving my mark is very unimportant and not to mention egotistical, but what isn't? we do anything and everything for ourselves. you may say that charity is selfless, but its not, charity is just another way to pat yourself on the back, you give because you feel guilt.
What I've found in life is also that i only find things to love if i look backwards in time, wonderful art and good music, both of witch are dead in this modern age. When we declared the age of modern art we killed art. have you all noticed the decline in quality? i hope allot of you have. in a world where we encourage anyone to be creative the bar for quality is lowered and allot of modern artists can get away with doing all kind of stupid art projects, there is no culture left, at lease we wont leave any for the generations past us.
So i was thinking allot of complex thoughts about what was wrong with the world, trying to figure it out but in the end, it was these simple pleasures that made me think differently, i don't want to change the world, its not a good place, but at the same time its not all bad and if the end is near i will welcome it with open arms.
These simple pleasures can be anything as long as its something you find you truly enjoy regardless of outside influences, something that will make your soul coo itself to sleep, something that's pure but not blue-eyed.

there is no point to this but there is one closing notation, i wont post anything on this account from now on, all the art is gone and the reason why is simple, this place is just too positive. I'm not saying negative is better either but this community truly disgusts me.
